Rockets Run

On Saturday some other interns and I decided to run in the "Rockets Run" 5k presented by the Houston Rockets. It was a fun race...on a surprisingly cold day in Houston. When the race began it was just above 30 degrees. The race ended going through the tunnels of the Toyota Center (where the Houston Rockets play) and the finish line was the half court line of the Rockets court. Pretty cool. I've already set my sights on my next race...my buddy Adam Ruri is in Austin and he and I will be doing the Warrior Dash in March just outside of Houston. Houston Bound...

Well, the purpose of this blog is to keep you up to date on the adventure that I call my life. The name of my blog is referenced from an old Jay-Z album...for those who are out of touch with pop-culture. I am about to start an internship with the Houston Astros marketing department on Tuesday. So, I am on a road trip from Las Vegas, where I spent Christmas, to Houston.

My first post will be simple...one of the billboards that welcomed me into Texas is a must share.
